the past two weeks were quite horribe. I had problems with the Internet connection and i was literally separated from any kind of entertainment, i even had to watch stupid russian tv-shows! *semi-sarcasm, they are not as bad as many russian lj-users think but still not really good*

The new Muse album is fantasticly awesome! I've been listening to it constantly for the last two days.

Well, i'm back. I came back from Uray(it's a small town in the center of Siberia where my aunt lives), i spent almost three weeks there and altough i was getting bored there sometimes, overall i'm glad i went there plus i was happy to see my aunt again.

Yesterday i watched District #9(yeah, i know i'm slow but Uray's only cinema didn't show it). I liked it a lot! Neill Blomkamp did a great job mixing action a-la Cloverfield with social drama. I hope District #10 will be awesome too.

I didn't expect this but i'm really looking forward to starting studing again. I miss my classmates and i'm exited about learning French.

I've talked to my cousin's wife today(i've gone to my eldest nephew's birthday ~party - he's 10! I feel old!) and i agreed to teach two of my nephews English. They are not doing too well at school so i'm going to work with them once a week, i'm hoping i will be a good teacher and this lessons will help them. Not gonna lie - i'm exited about it, even though i'm probably going to spent a lot of my free time on it. Plus, it never hurts to have some teaching expirience, call it 'Plan B' ;)

Star Trek

I've just got back from watching Star Trek and it was awesome!
I haven't seen any of the older movies ot tv-shows but i'm totally in love with this new movie and when i have free time at summer i might watch the whole saga.
The graphics in the movie are utterly amazing, J.J. has truely done a great job + the scenario was much much better than i'd thought it would be. The actors also did their best, all of them.
And altough i liked Wolverine, i can easily say that i liked Star Trek more, i can even say that i not only liked Star Trek, i loved it. And let's be honest, Wolverine was ~~obviously~~ a bit ridiculous.
So for now Star Trek is my favorite premier of May. But I'll wait and see if Angels & Demons, Observe and Report, Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, 17 Again or Up are able to top the awesomeness of ST. (OMG I haven't realised there are so many premiers this May, it seems like May is more movie-eventfull than summer and this is the time when i need to be studing really hard, damn you Hollywood!)

The new episode of House was purely awesome. It was the first episode that i truely enjoyed in quite a long time. If it keeps getting better like this, House might become my favorite show again.

Chuck was amazing too. Intertaining and funny and surprising. I really hope it won't get cancelled. Because seriously, come on! First Pushing daisies and now Chuck?! Why shows like Heroes are still on and the awesome ones are being cancelled one by one? Not fair!

But actually after Brian Fuller has returned to Heroes it's not so aweful anymore like it was during the season. It's still ridiculous but at least not so boring and irritaiting.

.I changed my layout, again. And added a poem by A. Pushkin to the sidebar. I first read this poem when i was 6 or 7 and since then i've really loved it. To be honest, Pushkin is one of my favorite poets. The favorite one is Anna Akhmatova, i think.

.I need to be doing my written works for history and for the subject called the history of european mentality(it's really ridiculous and very stupid) but i can't make myself just seat and do it, although the first work is due this week. my whole uni life is a bit screwed rn but my brain just blocks itself from thinking about this...

.And it's cold outside again. Why can't it be +20C already?! I want spring to come NOW! B/c come on, only +2C in the middle of April? Srsly?

.I've been a bit disappointed by the lack of new music lately. The beginning of the year was full of awesome albums and now - nothing. The only release that i am/was proud of and happy for is Depeche Mode's Sounds of the Universe. At first i thought that the album was kind of average(for DM at least) but the more i listened to it, the more i liked it.

.So now, while nothing interesting is happening in the music world i'm back to Muse. Whatever anyone says i still think that they are made of awesome. I've been listening to my favorite songs and falling in love with ones that i hadn't liked before but my music preferences must have chanded slightly 'cause now i love this songs. For example, I used to not like Ruled by Secresy or Eternally Missed, but now they are at top10(or 15 idk it's hard to tell because i have a lot of favorite Muse songs).

OMG I'm crazy! Because of the Oscars i've slept for only 2-3 hours today(but it was worth it) and now insteed of sleeping i'm going to the cinema to watch Slumdog and Button in a raw 'cause DAMN I still haven't seen them and they are obviously 'MUST SEE' movies and because today is still a weekend in Russia(tnx to our pointless holiday) and i won't have another chance like this i'm going.

PS: I'm proud of Rob, he was a bit nervous but come on who's not nervous at the Oscars(exept Meryl) but he did everything right and IMO did it better than Amanda(sry2say).

so night to everyone who's gonna sleep and good morning to those who are awake.
And i'm really looking forward to seeing all the afterparty' pics when i'm back from the cinema
